SMOKE SCREEN: OJO-OBA TAKES ATTENTION FROM SELF

The call has been on from the stakeholders of football in Nigeria that the present Secretary General of the Nigeria football federation DR.BOLAJI OJO-OBA follow the likes of the impeached president Sani lulu Abdullahi, amanze Uchegbulam and Taiwo Ogunjobi out of the football house.

Hey all you need to do is to listen to Brila fm every day and you notice that they have made the top 5 list in Nigeria’s most hated in sports.

So to many who have been agitating for his removal, the thought should be it’s just a matter of time before he gets the boot,…think again guys this is a man that has survived  ,the super eagles playing in cut of track suit s for a world cup qualifier ,-passport of players involved in an international  match left behind …..Please do you guys seriously think that he would get into trouble for a mere missing 236,000 dollars from the secretariat from the NFF headquarters …taaa

So what does he do..Here it comes like master tactician who probably has studied the art of war by tzan tsu ..i wish he used some of this genius to steer football to greater heights in Nigeria ..Ojo –Oba stirs things in the glass house like a good secretary general that he the Nigeria tribune says;

SECRETARY General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Dr. Bolaji Ojo-Oba has read a riot act for the staff of the federation even as he charged them to gird their loins for the task ahead. Ojo Oba’s remark followed the nonchalant attitude of some staff after the recent reorganization which culminated in the change of leadership. He warned that as the head of the secretariat, he would not hesitate to act when he finds out that some staff have been found wanting in the discharge of their responsibilities.  The former Oyo State Commissioner for Sports also warned that on no account should any file be treated in any office of the NFF without passing through his table.

It was gathered that the desire of Ojo-Oba to reorganize the secretariat was informed by the way in which the federation handled the case of the missing $236,000 from its safe. He claimed not to be aware of the money being kept in the safe, noting that the ugly incident amounts to indictment even though he was innocent
